I had the opportunity to record a podcast with my alma mater, Cedarville University, to tell the story about Willow and Ember, and reflect on God’s grace in the midst of that. I also talk a little about engineering, and missions, and my book.
This interview is part of a weekly podcast that Cedarville produces to tell stories of people in the larger Cedarville community. I’m grateful for them giving me this opportunity to tell this story of suffering and grace to a different and larger audience. Would you pray with me that it would be an encouragement to the Christian walk of those who listen? The interview is about a half-hour long, and I’d love if you had a chance to listen.
In some ways I feel like I don’t offer in this interview anything super profound about dealing with suffering and grief, but I think in the end, that itself becomes the point. We don’t get a profound explanation from God, but we learn to trust him more anyway. And he loves us and takes care of us even when it feels like he isn’t.
The podcast is available wherever you get your podcasts, under “Cedarville Stories”. It’s also on YouTube, and here’s the link directly to Cedarville’s page: https://blogs.cedarville.edu/cedarville-stories/2024/s11-e12-daniel-foster/
